What we collect

RecallRepo has no accounts, no comments, and no email capture. We never see the VIN you enter on the VIN page — decoding happens in your browser against NHTSA's public API.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. Until you grant consent via the consent banner, analytics runs in cookieless mode (Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied) and no advertising or analytics cookies are set.

Advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate links

We show display ads via Google AdSense and earn commissions from labeled Amazon affiliate links (rel="sponsored"). With consent, Google may use cookies to personalize ads; without consent, ads are non-personalized. See how Google uses data from partner sites.

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics (only after consent).
• Google advertising cookies (e.g. __gads, __gpi) — only after consent.
• A consent-state cookie set by the consent banner.
