Filed by Chrysler (FCA US, LLC). Component: Back Over Prevention. Reported 2024-12-19. An estimated 79,365 vehicles are affected. Recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer.

Defect

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, Grand Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee L vehicles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk

A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
