Consequence

In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION TAG ON THE VEHICLES CONTAINS INCORRECT, GROSS AXLE WEIGHT RATING (GAWR) AND GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING (GVWR) INFORMATION. Consequence

SHOULD A CONSUMER RELY ON THE INCORRECT AXLE AND WEIGHT RATING INFORMATION, THE VEHICLE COULD BE OVERLOADED, CAUSING A TIRE FAILURE THAT COULD RESULT IN A CRASH CAUSING PERSONAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

Remedy

CROSSROADS WILL REPLACE THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION TAG WITH ONE CONTAINING THE CORRECT WEIGHT RATINGS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 17, 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT CROSSROADS RV AT 1-888-226-7496.
