What owners report

Verbatim reports filed with NHTSA, lightly edited for readability and with personal information removed.

“A firestone steeltex radial r4s lt225/75 r16 tire mounted on the left rear of a dodge 1990 b350 van had a complete tread separation at highway speed. The tread caused minor damage to the exhaust tail pipe, but fortunately the tire did not deflate so the vehicle was brought to a safe stop. *nm”
