Consequence
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. ON CERTAIN RECREATIONAL TRAILERS, A FURNACE VENT WAS NOT INSTALLED. THE LACK OF AN EXHAUST VENT ALLOWS FURNACE COMBUSTION PRODUCTS CONTAINING CARBON MONOXIDE FUMES TO VENT INTO THE TRAILER.
Consequence
THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO THE OCCUPANTS OF THE TRAILER.
Remedy
OWNERS WILL BE INSTRUCTED TO VISUALLY CHECK FOR THE PRESENCE OF THE EXHAUST VENT ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE.
