“The ignition switch shorted out when trying to start vehicle and actually began to melt on top of the steering column. Repairs not done. Vehicle still sits where it was when the switch failed. Nhtsa recall #96v071000 affecting 7.9 million trucks between 1987 and 1992. Ford denies a recall. *nm”
