SEPARATION OF THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE FITTING END (VEHICLE INTERIOR) AND THE OUTER CABLE CONDUIT.
Consequence
THIS CONDITION CAN CAUSE THE GEAR SELECT LEVER TO BEPOSITIONED INDEPENDENT OF THE TRANSMISSION POSITION, WHICH MAY CAUSE THETRANSMISSION TO BE INADVERTENTLY LEFT IN A ROLL-AWAY OR IN A DRIVE CONDITION,RESULTING IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
