Defect

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. (Gulf Stream) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Gulf Stream Conquest and B Touring Cruiser motorhomes. These vehicles have an auxiliary solar charging port circuit that is not fused.

Consequence

If solar panels are connected and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, the unprotected circuit can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Gulf Stream will notify owners, and dealers will install circuit protection, free of charge. The recall began November 15, 2018. Owners may contact Gulf Stream customer service at 1-800-482-6456, extension 5208. Gulf Stream's number for this recall is 10112018.
