The left handlebar switch harness may corrode due to oxidation, resulting in the loss of horn function or the ability to switch the headlight from low beam to high beam. Consequence

The inability to use the horn or switch the headlight from low beam to high beam can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the left handlebar switch assembly, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 20, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING 25V358000 2025-05-29 1,016 affected
Defect

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 XL750, 2025 CMX1100, and CRF1100 motorcycles. The crankcase sealing bolt may have been improperly manufactured, which can cause the engine to leak oil onto the rear tire.

Consequence

Oil on the rear tire may cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the crankcase sealing bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2025. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KS2.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 24V882000 2024-11-21 4,205 affected
Defect

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2022 and 2024-2025 CRF1100 Africa Twin motorcycles. A software error in the fuel injection electronic control unit (FI-ECU) may cause an engine stall or a loss of power when the Wheelie Control feature is activated.

Consequence

An engine stall or loss of power can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy

Dealers will reprogram the FI-ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 15, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KR1.
