2024 International Hx Recalls

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2016 7600, 2016-2023 Lonestar, 2018 8600, 2018-2023 LT, 2021-2026 MV, 2022-2023 RH, 2023-2026 HX, and 2025-2026 HV vehicles. Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Safety systems that depend on the ECU, such as Automatic Traction Control, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, and Collison Mitigation System, may have diminished or lost functionality, increasing the risk of a crash.

International will work with Bendix to reprogram the ECU, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 19, 2026. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2022-2025 HX vehicles. The service brake may take longer than expected to release. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

A delayed brake release can increase the risk of crash.

International will install larger air lines or a quick release valve (QRV) as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825.

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2024-2025 HX vehicles. An insufficient amount of lubricant in the front steer drive (FSD) axle hubs may result in damage to the wheel bearings.

Damaged bearings can cause the wheel to separate and result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2024 International HX, LT, RH and 2024-2025 International HV, MV trucks and 2024 IC Bus CE commercial buses. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.

A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.
