STEERING SYSTEM LEFT TIE ROD END MAY DEVELOP A FATIGUE CRACK IN THE TREADED PART OF THE ROD DUE TO IMPROPER HEAT TREATMENT.
Consequence
COMPLETE SEPARATION OF THE TIE ROD END RESULTS IN LOSSOF STEERING CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT COULD OCCUR.
Remedy
REPLACE LEFT TIE ROD ENDS WITH NEW PROPERLY HARDENED ENDS.
