Defect
THE FRONT BRAKE LINE HAS A POSSIBLE ASSEMBLY ERROR IN WHICH THERE IS INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE BRAKE LINE AND THE POWER STEERING MOUNTING BRACKET.
Consequence
PROLONGED INTERFERENCE CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN A FAILUREOF THE FRONT BRAKE LINE, RESULTING IN LOSS OF BRAKING POWER TO THE FRONT WHEELS.
Remedy
REPAIR TO ASSURE MINIMUM CLEARANCE BETWEEN BRAKE LINE AND POWER STEERING MOUNTING BRACKET; OR, IF NECESSARY, INSTALL NEW BRAKE LINE THAT WILL ALLEVIATE ANY POSSIBILITY OF INTERFERENCE.
