Defect
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES AND MOTOR COACHES, THE WIPER ARM ATTACHMENT TO THE DRIVE SHAFTS CAN COME LOOSE CAUSING THE WIPER SYSTEM ON THAT SIDE TO BECOME INOPERATIVE.
Consequence
A LOSS OF VISIBILITY COULD OCCUR INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL WINDSHIELD WIPER DRIVE SHAFTS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN FEBRUARY 27, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT PREVOST AT 1-418-831-5432.
