Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2023 View and Navion recreational vehicles. The rear roof cap aerofence trim may become loose and detach during transit.

Consequence

A detached roof cap can become a road hazard for other vehicles and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Winnebago View and Navion recreational vehicles equipped with certain Lippert Metallarte door assemblies. The door assembly may have been manufactured with incorrect window adhesion, causing the window to loosen or detached.

Consequence

A window that detaches during transit can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will install clips to secure the window to the door as necessary, free of charge. An interim owner letter was mailed December 20, 2024. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2025 Revel, 2020-2025 Navion, Porto, View, Vita, 2022-2023 Adventure Van, and 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted.

Consequence

Damaged wires can prevent air bags from deploying in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Consequence

An overloaded vehicle can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2023 View and Navion vehicles. The LP fuel line is routed near the rear wheel well, which may allow the fuel line to contact the tire and become damaged, resulting in a gas leak.

Consequence

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy
