Defect

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOME AND COMMERCIAL CHASSIS EQUIPPED WITH JB8 POWER HYDRAULIC BRAKE OPTION. AN INCORRECT ANTI-LOCK BRAKE CONTROL MODULE WAS INSTALLED ON THESE VEHICLES. THE INCORRECT MODULE DOES NOT REDUCE BRAKE POWER TO THE REAR AXLE BRAKES.

Consequence

IN THE EVENT OF A ANTI-LOCK MODULE FAILURE, THE ADDITIONAL BRAKE POWER CAN CAUSE THE REAR WHEELS TO LOCK UP CAUSING REAR TIRE SKID.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE.
