Defect

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2025 CB1000SP motorcycles. The fuel feed hose may disconnect from the fuel tank, causing a fuel leak.

Consequence

A fuel leak near the rear tire can increase the risk of a crash or injury. In addition, a fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will secure the angle sensor coupler wiring harness and replace the fuel hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 20, 2026. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING 25V892000 2025-12-18 474 affected
Defect

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2025 CB1000SP motorcycles. The pistons and piston rings may have been improperly manufactured, which can lead to rod bearing failure, possibly resulting in rear wheel lock up or oil leaking onto the rear tire.

Consequence

Rear wheel lockup increases the risk of a crash or injury. Engine oil that leaks onto hot exhaust components increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and repair the engine assembly as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed February 9, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in August 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870.…

Defect

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2025 CB1000SP Hornet SP motorcycles. The pivot bolt on the gearshift pedal may loosen and detach, resulting in the inability to shift gears. Consequence

The inability to shift gears while riding increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy
